Basketball Recap: Metro Comes Up Short

After flying high against Rosati-Kain last Tuesday, Metro came back down to earth. The Metro Panthers came up short against the St. Pius X Lancers on Thursday, falling 54-30. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 54-22 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Metro's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Pius X, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Metro will venture away from home to face off against McKinley Classical Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Pius X has already played their next game (against Owensville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
