Volleyball Recap: Blackfoot Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Blackfoot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Century Diamondbacks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Diamondbacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 two weeks ago.

Despite the defeat, Blackfoot saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Bailee Thompson had 14 digs and four assists. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Thompson.

Blackfoot's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Century, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blackfoot will host Bonneville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Century and Highland will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
