Softball Recap: LaBelle Comes Up Short

LaBelle and Aubrey Rogers squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but LaBelle had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 10-9.

Emorie Anderson and Nevaeh Crumb stepped up to the plate in a big way. Anderson went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple, while Crumb went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Payton Crews, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

LaBelle's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Aubrey Rogers, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-13.

As of now, neither LaBelle nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
