Union waltzed into their match on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Southern Boone Eagles with a sharp 14-4 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Union pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Southern Boone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-1 win against New Haven on the 14th. As for Southern Boone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Timberland on the 12th.
