Basketball Recap: Chopticon Braves vs. North Point Eagles
After flying high against Calverton last Monday, Chopticon came back down to earth. The Chopticon Braves were beaten by the North Point Eagles 64-36 on Wednesday. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-12.
Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cassidy Wolfe, who posted six points.
Chopticon now has a losing record at 7-8. As for North Point, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Chopticon will head out to take on Lackey at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leonardtown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Leonardtown will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something North Point surely won't give up without a fight.
