Football Recap: Midway/Minto Has No Trouble Against North Star Co-Op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland]

Midway/Minto's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past the North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] Bearcats with points to spare, taking the game 30-14. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 44-40 victory the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win got Midway/Minto back to even at 1-1. As for North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland], this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Midway/Minto is set to take on their familiar foe North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] on Friday. Meanwhile, North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland] will square off against rival Four Winds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
