Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minooka). They blew past the Joliet West Tigers 21-7 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Minooka got a great performance from Dani Chorak as she struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off 13 hits (and not a single walk). Chorak has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Ava Carlson was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Karli McMillin, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
