They lost 52-32 to the Founders Classical Academy Archers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Archers: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, KIPP Austin Collegiate had strong showings from Aimee Santiago, who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and five steals, and Jackelyn Reyes, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Santiago is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

KIPP Austin Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Founders Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
