Volleyball Recap: Boerne-Champion Beats Brownwood for Their Third Straight Win

Boerne-Champion entered their tilt with Brownwood on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Taylor Fenton paced Boerne-Champion's offense, picking up eight kills. Fenton got some help from Brady Cooksey and her 19 assists. Hannah Perez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Boerne-Champion's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Brownwood, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Boerne-Champion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wall on the 15th. As for Brownwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cooper on the 15th.
