Softball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross fell victim to Ryle and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 9-0 to the Raiders. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holy Cross now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Ryle, they pushed their record up to 12-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Holy Cross will square off against Boone County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ryle, they will face off against Dixie Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Colonels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.69 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
