Basketball Recap: Detroit Community Takes a Loss

Detroit Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 43-24 to the Michigan Collegiate Cougars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-40 two weeks ago.

Detroit Community's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Michigan Collegiate, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.

While Detroit Community had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
