Basketball Game Preview: Herlong Vikings vs. Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars

Herlong is 0-7 against Paradise Adventist Academy since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Herlong Vikings will square off against the Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Herlong has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Herlong is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 54-47 to Big Valley on Friday.

Herlong might have lost, but man, Thomas Wolf was a machine: he posted 22 points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Gauge Carrier, who had 14 points.

Meanwhile, Paradise Adventist Academy hadn't done well against Loyalton recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Paradise Adventist Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Loyalton, sneaking past 62-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since December 13, 2023.

Herlong's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Paradise Adventist Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Herlong was dealt a bruising 57-28 loss at the hands of Paradise Adventist Academy when the teams last played back in February. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Paradise Adventist Academy's Jayden Eyer, who went 11 of 27 on his way to 33 points and three steals.
