Crestview and Pace are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Bulldogs will take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Crestview picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Tate by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Pace waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.

Pace never let Niceville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 25-19.

Crestview better focus on containing Liv Riffell and Layla Claudio as the pair were huge in Pace's win. Riffell had 11 digs and six assists, while Claudio had 12 assists and six digs. That's the most assists Riffell has posted over her last six matches.

Pace was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are a perfect 9-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Crestview's record now sits at 13-10. As for Pace, their record is now 11-6.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Crestview has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.7 aces per game. However, it's not like Pace struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Crestview couldn't quite get it done against Pace in their previous matchup on September 4th as they fell 3-1. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
