Football Recap: Hancock County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Unaka last Friday, Hancock County came back down to earth. The Indians were outmatched by the Cosby Eagles and fell 42-8. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Hancock County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cosby, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hancock County will take on Happy Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 9.2 points per game this season, so the Indians' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cosby, they will square off against Cloudland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
