Soccer Recap: Central Square Takes a Loss

Central Square was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams. While losing is never fun, Central Square can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 326th, while Jamesville-DeWitt are ranked 101st).

Central Square's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-3. As for Jamesville-DeWitt, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Jamesville-DeWitt will take on East Syracuse-Minoa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Square will be paying especially close attention to the Red Rams' match: after the Red Rams face off against Fulton, they'll take on Central Square again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
