Soccer Recap: Morgan Township Takes a Loss

If Morgan Township was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of South Bend Washington on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cherokees fell 4-2 to the Marquette Catholic Blazers on Wednesday. Morgan Township were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Marquette Catholic apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Marshall Craigin and Lincoln Riley scored both of Morgan Township's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Morgan Township's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Marquette Catholic, their record is now an identical 3-1.
