Jason Key posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because McLoud is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-10 otherwise.

Key's effort led McLoud over Seminole and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
