Ringgold was the 2-1 winner over South Fayette when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0 on Thursday.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for South Fayette, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-10.

Ringgold and South Fayette could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Rams will challenge Bethel Park at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (212 vs. 38). Meanwhile, South Fayette (ranked 321st) will meet Trinity (ranked 125th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
