Edison skates past New London with ease

There's no place like home for the Edison Chargers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They breezed by New London at home to the tune of 71-43. That's another feather in the cap for Edison, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Edison was led to victory by Cole Leimeister and Kayden Bourget. Leimeister scored 16 points, while Bourget scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Zach Rang, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Edison back to even at 1-1. As for New London, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Edison will head out on the road to face off against Wynford at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for New London, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Mapleton at 7:30 p.m.
