Basketball Recap: Grand Ledge Takes a Loss

Grand Ledge lost against Okemos back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grand Ledge Comets might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Okemos Wolves an easy 61-37 win. The contest marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Grand Ledge's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Okemos, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Grand Ledge will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Okemos and Kenowa Hills will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th.
