Volleyball Recap: Mercy Mcauley Has No Trouble Against Taft

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Fenwick, Mercy McAuley was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Taft Senators with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mercy McAuley was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-11, 25-5.

Sydney Bouldin paced Mercy McAuley's offense, picking up five kills. Bouldin got some help from Ava Thelen and her 11 assists. Emma Adkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with 12 aces.

Mercy McAuley's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Taft, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

As of now, neither Mercy McAuley nor the Senators have any future games scheduled.
