Hephzibah barely beat Cross Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Razorbacks 57-6. With the Rebels ahead 44-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Reante Byrd and Tarvaris Josey. Byrd rushed for 80 yards and three TDs on only nine carries while Josey rushed for 86 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries. Hephzibah is undefeated when Byrd posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.

The win got Hephzibah back to even at 3-3. As for Cross Creek, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Hephzibah will square off against Harlem at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Rebels' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cross Creek, they will take on Aquinas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
