Volleyball Recap: El Dorado Comes Up Short

El Dorado lost against Circle last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbirds.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20.

Leading Circle to victory were Emmerson Haskins and Brianna Paul. Haskins had nine digs and three aces, while Paul had nine digs and two assists. That's the most aces Haskins has posted over her last seven matches.

El Dorado has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-14-4 record this season. As for Circle, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Dorado will host Arkansas City on Saturday. As for Circle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Douglass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
