Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids Takes a Loss

Coon Rapids lost against Totino-Grace back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Coon Rapids Cardinals were beaten by the Totino-Grace Eagles 74-43. The matchup marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Coon Rapids has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Totino-Grace, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coon Rapids will take on Elk River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Totino-Grace, they will challenge Andover at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Andover knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Totino-Grace likes a good challenge.
