Basketball Game Preview: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Briggs Bruins

The Grove City Christian Eagles and the Briggs Bruins will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Grove City Christian turned things around against Gilead Christian on Friday. They walked away with a 41-28 win over the Eagles. Grove City Christian pushed the score to 36-16 by the end of the third, a deficit Gilead Christian cut but never quite recovered from.

Meanwhile, Briggs entered their tilt with Patriot Prep Academy on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 44-31.

Grove City Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5. As for Briggs, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-6.
