Football Game Preview: Rock Academy Warriors vs. Orange Glen Patriots + How To Watch

The Rock Academy Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Orange Glen Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rock Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Orange Glen likes a good challenge.

Rock Academy easily dispatched Tri-City Christian last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Warriors fell just short of Victory Christian Academy by a score of 43-40 on Friday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Rock Academy got top-tier performance from Zayden Campbell, who rushed for 214 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Campbell is becoming a predictor of the Warriors' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Iman Oredi was another key player, gaining 116 total yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Orange Glen came up short against O'Farrell Charter last Friday and fell 20-13.

Despite the loss, Orange Glen saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Xadan Wilde rushed for 89 yards and one TD, and also threw for 45 yards and one touchdown.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Rock Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
