Basketball Recap: Kinsley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sublette last Tuesday, Kinsley came back down to earth. The Kinsley Coyotes were dealt a 58-19 defeat at the hands of the Spearville Lancers on Friday. The Coyotes have struggled against the Lancers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Kinsley's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Spearville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Looking ahead, Kinsley will welcome Macksville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spearville, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kiowa County at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Spearville has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three games.
