Recap: Sonora Raiders vs. Sunny Hills Lancers
The Sonora Raiders's and the Sunny Hills Lancers's matchup on Thursday was close at halftime, but the Sonora Raiders turned on the heat in the second half with 36 points. Sonora was the clear victor by a 63-40 margin over Sunny Hills. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sonora also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Despite the loss, Sunny Hills still got an impressive performance from Kingsley Ashley, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Justin Shim, who scored nine points.
Sonora is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Sunny Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.
