Bayside is 7-1 against Cocoa since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bears will look to defend their home field against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Bayside will be strutting in after a victory while Cocoa will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Bayside turned things around against Space Coast on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Vipers 7-6.

Meanwhile, Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to Rockledge.

Cocoa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Champ Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Bayside's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Cocoa, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything went Bayside's way against Cocoa in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Bayside made off with an 8-0 victory. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
