Preview: Bordentown Scotties vs. Robbinsville Ravens
Bordentown has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Robbinsville Ravens at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Bordentown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, it was a hard-fought game, but Bordentown had to settle for a 55-53 loss against Westampton Tech. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bordentown has scored all season.
Bordentown's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Eunmin Choi, who scored ten points along with five steals, and Andrew DeCosta who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Myles Hansford, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Robbinsville entered their tilt with Lawrence with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Robbinsville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 victory over Lawrence on Thursday.
Bordentown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Robbinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
Bordentown beat Robbinsville 64-57 in their previous meeting back in March of 2020. Does Bordentown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Robbinsville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
