Volleyball Recap: Coconino Comes Up Short

Coconino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Marana Tigers.

Coconino's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Marana, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-9 record this season.

Coconino will look to defend their home court on Monday against Mohave at 6:00 p.m. As for Marana, they will be taking part in a tournament against Thunderbird at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
