            Softball Preview: Sheboygan North Golden Raiders vs. Bay Port Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Sheboygan North is 0-10 against Bay Port since April of 2017 but things could change  on Thursday. The Golden Raiders will venture away from home to  face off against the Pirates  at 4:30  p.m. Sheboygan North has given up an average of 12  runs per game this season, but Thursday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Sheboygan North is headed into Thursday's   match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game  on Monday. They came up short against  Notre Dame Academy, falling  21-2.
 Sheboygan North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bella Wagner, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  run and one  double.
Meanwhile,  Bay Port unfortunately witnessed the end of their  six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Pulaski by a score of  5-3.
  Elly Rau made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. She has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times she's  played.  Riley Veraghen also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Sheboygan North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Bay Port, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
 Sheboygan North suffered a grim  16-0 defeat to Bay Port  in their previous matchup  back in April. Can the Golden Raiders avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
