Volleyball Recap: Wisner-Pilger Comes Up Short

Wisner-Pilger lost against Stanton back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gators fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11.

Charli Jacobs paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up six kills. Jacobs got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 12 assists.

Stanton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rylan Hansen out in front who had four aces and three digs. Those four aces gave Hansen a new career-high.

Wisner-Pilger's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Stanton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Coincidentally, Wisner-Pilger and Stanton will both be playing Pender the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Pendragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Gators will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
