L.C. Bird entered their tilt with Clover Hill on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Clover Hill Cavaliers 63-29. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 34 points or more this season.

L.C. Bird was led to victory by Sasha Hodge and Kamari Simon. Hodge dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten steals, while Simon dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Hodge is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ayanna Boisseau also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

L.C. Bird was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clover Hill only racked up six assists.

When it comes to explaining why Clover Hill lost, don't look at Deja Raines. Despite the final result, she went 7 of 11 en route to 16 points. Those 16 points gave Raines a new career-high.

L.C. Bird's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Clover Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

L.C. Bird wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-44 win against Monacan on the 16th. Clover Hill has also already played their next match (against Powhatan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
