Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Manor couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salem Spartans on Friday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Salem's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabby Crawley led the charge by putting up 19 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emme Custer, who posted 12 points and eight boards.

Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 22-2. As for Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-2 record this season.

Manor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they will welcome Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Salem has won 21 straight at home dating back to last season, while Heritage won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
