After only one run in their last game, Pueblo made sure to put some runs up on the board against Amphitheater on Tuesday. The Pueblo Warriors put the hurt on the Amphitheater Panthers with a sharp 28-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.
Roman Otero made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. Looking ahead, Pueblo will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Douglas at 4:00 p.m. Douglas will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Pueblo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Amphitheater, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Amphitheater Panthers duke it out with Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
