Basketball Game Preview: Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM vs. Christian Liberty Chargers

After both having extra time off, the Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM and the Christian Liberty Chargers will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cristo Rey St. Martin has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Back in December of 2024, Cristo Rey St. Martin beat North Shore Country Day 41-30.

Meanwhile, Christian Liberty played a tough matchup last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 48-26 to Arthur-Okaw Christian. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Conquering Riders are ranked 228th).

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Christian Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
