Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marion). They never let the Cahokia Comanches get on the board and left with a 23-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Comanches: they've now won nine in a row.

Marion pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Cahokia, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Marion beat the Comanches by a score of 25-4 later that day.
