Football Game Preview: Wesley Chapel Wildcats vs. Zephyrhills Bulldogs

The Wesley Chapel Wildcats will square off against the Zephyrhills Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wesley Chapel's offense hasn't had much luck over their past seven matches, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wesley Chapel is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Fivay a 13-0 shutout on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Wesley Chapel can attribute much of their success to Louna Al Kara, who rushed for 22 yards and one TD, and also threw for 55 yards and one touchdown.

Wesley Chapel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Briley Dusek led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Zephyrhills, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with an 18-6 win over Pasco on Tuesday.

Zephyrhills' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Wesley Chapel, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
