Soccer Game Preview: Menasha vs. Pulaski

The Menasha Bluejays are taking a road trip to take on the Pulaski Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Menasha is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Green Bay East on Tuesday. Neither the Bluejays nor the Red Devils could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pulaski). Their defense stepped up to hand Sheboygan South a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for Pulaski, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Pulaski's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. Menasha's draw gives them a new season record of 1-5-1.

Menasha suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to Pulaski when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bluejays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
