North Branch came tearing into Saturday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Linden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Aubree Deshetsky paced North Branch's offense, picking up 17 kills. Deshetsky got some help from Kylie Doherty and her 23 assists. Hannah Thomas and Allysse Deshetsky kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

North Branch's record now sits at 37-11. As for Linden, with the defeat, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 25-9.

North Branch has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Mt. Pleasant on the 1st. As for Linden, they will host Owosso at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
