Houston County won the last time they faced Columbus and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears skirted past the Blue Devils 2-1.

When it comes to explaining why Columbus lost, don't look at Jaslyn Watts. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two aces. Watts is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Houston County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Columbus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Coming up, Houston County will take on Riverwood in a tournament on Saturday. As for Columbus, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Harris County on the 14th.
