Basketball Recap: Missisquoi Valley Comes Up Short

Missisquoi Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 49-23 to the Enosburg Falls Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent loss being a 42-27 defeat back in January.

Missisquoi Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Enosburg Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Thunderbirds take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Enosburg Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Middlebury at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
