Volleyball Recap: Summit Charter Comes Up Short

Summit Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Cherokee Braves.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-10.

Cherokee was led to victory by Kennedy Moore and Lilly Lossiah. Moore had nine digs and three aces, while Lossiah had 17 assists. Lossiah has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Summit Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Cherokee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Summit Charter has already played their next match (against Robbinsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cherokee, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Swain County on the 21st.
