Volleyball Recap: Marvin Ridge Falls Short Against Ranked Ardrey Kell

Marvin Ridge faced Ardrey Kell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Mavericks came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Marvin Ridge was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Marvin Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Ardrey Kell, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

As of now, neither Marvin Ridge nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
