Baseball Game Preview: Maroa-Forsyth Trojans vs. MacArthur Generals

The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans will face off against the MacArthur Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Maroa-Forsyth has three straight wins, MacArthur has 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, Maroa-Forsyth made easy work of Clinton and carried off an 11-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for MacArthur's offense. They came up short against Lincoln on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

Maroa-Forsyth's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 3-17.
