Austin Clay leads Berea-Midpark to victory over Gilmour Academy

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Berea-Midpark Titans ultimately got the result they hoped for on Sunday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Gilmour Academy 66-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Among those leading the charge was Austin Clay, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Devyn Zahursky was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Berea-Midpark's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Gilmour Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Berea-Midpark will head out on the road to face off against Valley Forge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilmour Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walsh Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
