Baseball Recap: Toledo Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Toledo barely beat Lowell the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Boomers blew past the Devils 12-3 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Boomers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Toledo's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lowell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

The future could be bright for both Toledo and Lowell: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Boomers will try to hand Waldport their sixth-straight defeat when the two meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lowell will look to extend Eddyville's three-game losing streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
