Volleyball Game Preview: Randall Raiders vs. Fort Stockton Panthers

The Randall Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Fort Stockton Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Randall will be strutting in after a win while Fort Stockton will be coming in after a loss.

Randall proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hereford, sneaking past 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Whitefaces: they've now won nine in a row.

Randall took Hereford into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Fort Stockton came up short against Greenwood on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Randall's win bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Fort Stockton, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-18.

Randall took their victory against Fort Stockton when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
