Basketball Recap: North Rowan Takes a Loss

If North Rowan was feeling good fresh off their 56-32 takedown of West Davidson last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The North Rowan Cavaliers took a 66-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Yellowjackets. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Cavaliers still had to take the loss.

Lexington's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rahzel Ewart, who posted 18 points. Jaylen Henderson was another key player, putting up 20 points.

North Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Lexington, they pushed their record up to 12-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

North Rowan has already played their next game, a 62-60 victory against West Rowan on the 12th. As for Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-52 defeat against Northeast Guilford on the 12th.
